An ant whose name is Angine
Térébenthine is a twenty-seven-year-old painter, lazy and introverted. She lives with her cat Pipas in a dirty, poorly heated two-room apartment. She is in a slump, a kind of creative void. The book follows one of her many sleepless nights, during which she lets her more or less existential thoughts take control. Questions to which she has no real answers, realizations about the world that lead to painful memories… Térébenthine searches for the source of her blockage, within her work and by extension within herself.
📙 An introspective and touching work.
